No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Eisvogel Freiburg (5-5) beat at home 10th ranked Hannover (2-7) 77-73. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Daneesha Provo (183-96, college: Utah) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points. American center Cassidy Boensch (195-98, college: GVSU) helped adding 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Eisvogel Freiburg players scored in double figures. Eisvogel Freiburg's coach Isabel Fernandez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Belarusian guard Alexandra Tarasava (172-88) responded with 21 points and 6 assists and naturalized Canadian forward Tessa Stammberger (180-93, college: Dalhousie) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Eisvogel Freiburg moved-up to fifth place. Hannover lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Heidelberg. Eisvogel Freiburg will again play against Hannover (#10) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hannover will have a break next round.
