Regular Season Round 8: Constanta - Dinamo B. 54-79

Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Dinamo B. (2-2) outscored on the road bottom-ranked Constanta (0-4) 79-54 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Dinamo B. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Constanta's 28. Dinamo B. had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard TJ Price (193-93, college: WKU) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: GWU) who added 8 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Mario Lazar (203-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Cristian Mainea (182-98) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo B. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Craiova. Constanta at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Dinamo B. will face Focsani (#10) on the road in the next round. Constanta will play against Timisoara (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
