Very predictable result when fourth ranked Edremit (5-1) won against 12th ranked Botas (1-5) in Balikesir 90-72 on Saturday. Point guard Revaziye Donmez (-88) notched a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Yasemin Gunes (189-93) supported her with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Edremit players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 9 rebounds by American center Tearra Banks (188-95, college: Austin Peay) did not help to save the game for Botas. Zeyno Seren (76-3) added 13 points. Botas' coach Cemal Gozeneli tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Edremit moved-up to third place, which they share with Antalya 07. Loser Botas dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Istanbul Univ. and Mersin Univ..
