Very predictable result in Istanbul where third ranked Fenerbahce (12-3) defeated 12th ranked Galatasaray (5-10) 87-73 on Saturday. Fenerbahce dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Galatasaray's 28. They outrebounded Galatasaray 34-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Lorenzo Brown (196-90, college: NC State) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian Marko Guduric (196-95, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 18 points and 5 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Australian Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU) with 15 points and 5 assists and American guard Daryl Macon (190-95, college: Arkansas) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Fenerbahce moved-up to second place, which they share with Pinar Karsiyaka. Loser Galatasaray dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
