Very important is a road loss of second ranked OrangeAcademy (7-2) against fifth ranked Coburg (7-5) on Sunday night. Visiting OrangeAcademy was defeated by Coburg in Coburg 76-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of OrangeAcademy. The winners were led by swingman Sven Lorber (183-97) who scored that evening 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Croatian Mateo Seric (204-99) supported him with 14 points. Five Coburg players scored in double figures. Coburg's coach Valentino Lott used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by Polish Igor Milicic (204-2) did not help to save the game for OrangeAcademy. Nat-Sidi Diallo (208-0) added 13 points and 7 rebounds. Coburg moved-up to third place in South. Loser OrangeAcademy keeps the second position with two games lost. Coburg will meet Titans (#4) in the next round. OrangeAcademy will play against Erfurt and hope to secure a win.
