TBL top team - Akhisar Bld (11-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Bornova Bld (8-4) in Izmir 78-68. American guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Berkay Kansu (191-97) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: EMU) replied with 16 points and 6 assists and Canadian forward Kalif Young (206-97, college: Providence) added 9 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Bornova Bld. Akhisar Bld maintains first position with 11-3 record. Newly promoted Bornova Bld dropped to the fourth place with four games lost.
