Regular Season Round 16: Gmunden - UBSC Graz 78-76

The most exciting game of round 16 in the BSL took place in Gmunden. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked UBSC Graz (8-8) to third ranked Gmunden Swans (10-5) 78-76 on Wednesday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 46-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Finnish center Daniel Dolenc (205-93, agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. American guard Stanley Whittaker (183-94, college: Keiser) replied with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Jacob Ledoux (190-97, college: UTPB) added 20 points in the effort for UBSC Graz. Gmunden Swans moved-up to second place. UBSC Graz lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Gmunden Swans are looking forward to face UBC St. Poelten (#5) in St.Poelten in the next round. UBSC Graz will have a break next round.
