The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Flames' (4-4) home victory over 9th ranked Deutsch-Wagram (1-8) in Vienna 82-68 on Wednesday. Five Flames and four Deutsch-Wagram players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Flames moved-up to seventh place. Deutsch-Wagram lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Flames will face league's leader Worthersee Piraten in Klagenfurt in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Deutsch-Wagram will play at home against Furstenfeld Panthers (#5) and hope to win that game.
