Fenerbahce outrebounded Nesibe 39-23 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Kayla McBride (180-92, college: Notre Dame) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Kiah Stokes (191-93, college: UConn) helped adding 12 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Ruthy Hebard (193-98, college: Oregon, agency: Wasserman) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Kazakhstan-Belarusian forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. Newly promoted Nesibe keeps the third position with four games lost. Fenerbahce are looking forward to face Mersin (#4) on the road in the next round. Nesibe's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ankara to the arena Ormanspor.
