The game in Prienai supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Lietkabelis (9-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Prienai CBet (6-10). Lietkabelis smashed Prienai CBet 92-70 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Prienai CBet. The game was mostly controlled by Lietkabelis. Prienai CBet managed to win second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lietkabelis had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lietkabelis maintains second position with 9-4 record having just one point less than leader Zalgiris. Loser Prienai CBet keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Lietkabelis will meet at home Nevezis (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Prienai CBet will play against Juventus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
