The game in Ivano-Frankivsk supposed to be also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Prometey (14-0) played at the court of 5th ranked Frankivsk (5-11). Prometey smashed Frankivsk 116-61. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Frankivsk's 24. Prometey forced 24 Frankivsk turnovers and outrebounded them 57-27 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Frankivsk's players. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Prometey have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Newly promoted Prometey maintains second position with 14-0 record having six points less than leader Kyiv Basket. Frankivsk lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 11 games lost. Prometey's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Vinnystkiye M. (#8) in Vinnytsia where they are favorite. Frankivsk will play on the road against Rivne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
