Liga Nationala top team - Sf.Gheorghe (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Oradea (0-10) 148-14. The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oradea to just 2 points in first and third quarters and to 4 points in second half. Sf.Gheorghe held Oradea to an opponent 12.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 65.1 percent accuracy of the winners and made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while Oradea only scored three points from the stripe. Sf.Gheorghe forced 46 Oradea turnovers and outrebounded them 48-13 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Sf.Gheorghe especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 48 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Oradea's players. It was a great evening for Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Montenegrin forward Jovana Pasic (180-92) helped adding 24 points, 7 assists and 8 steals (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Sf.Gheorghe players scored in double figures. Diana Rosu (-5) responded with 5 points and point guard Alexandra Mangra (165-2) scored 3 points. Oradea's coach Attila Veres gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sf.Gheorghe have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-0 record. Oradea at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
