DBBL top team - Gruner Stern Keltern (11-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Gisa Lions (4-7) in Halle 66-62. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gisa Lions. Gruner Stern Keltern made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Gisa Lions 40-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian-Hungarian center Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (194-93, college: McGill, agency: Wasserman) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. American center Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. Gruner Stern Keltern's coach Christian Hergenroether used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
