It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Balikesir. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Mert Gizir (193-94) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: EMU) accounted for 20 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Bahamas center Zane Knowles (208-92, college: TAMUCC) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American point guard Myles Mack (178-93, college: Rutgers, agency: BeoBasket) added 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for Balikesir in the defeat. Balikesir's coach Mustafa Mavili rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bornova Bld have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Bornova Bld maintains second place with 10-4 record behind leader Akhisar Bld. Balikesir at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with six games lost.
