We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Klaipeda where 13th ranked Neptunas-Akv. (5-13) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Delikatesas (5-12) 68-56 on Saturday. Delikatesas dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas-Akv.'s 16. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jawan Davis (184-89, college: Claflin) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Sarunas Kulevicius (194-89) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Dovydas Romancenko (206-98) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Delikatesas moved-up to thirteenth place. Neptunas-Akv. lost their ninth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Delikatesas will meet higher ranked Vilnius (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Neptunas-Akv. will play against Gargzdu (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
