There was a minor upset when 4th ranked BC Vienna (9-8) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (10-8) 101-91. The game was mostly controlled by Raiffeisen Flyers Wels. BC Vienna was better in third quarter 28-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to BC Vienna's 36. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was a good game for American forward Jarvis Ray (198-90, college: TCU) who led his team to a victory with 32 points. Slovenian guard Jan Razdevsek (191-0) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels' coach Sebastian Waser allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Richaud Pack (192-92, college: Maryland) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import center David Haughton (201-91, college: Purchase) added 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for BC Vienna. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels moved-up to fourth place, which they share with St.Poelten. BC Vienna lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost.
