No shocking result in a game when second ranked TSV 1880 Wasserburg (10-1) defeated at home 9th ranked Blue Dolphins (3-5) 70-56 on Saturday. The former international Leonie Fiebich (192-0) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international forward Laura Hebecker (181-93) chipped in 23 points. At the losing side the former international point guard Alexandra Wilke (175-96) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Hanna Crymble (190, college: Vermont) scored 17 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Blue Dolphins' coach rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for TSV 1880 Wasserburg. They maintain second place with 10-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Keltern. Loser Blue Dolphins keep the ninth position with five games lost. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will meet XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
