Rather predictable result in Balikesir where twelfth ranked Sigortam.net (7-8) edged 15th ranked Gemlik (5-10) 89-86 on Sunday. Sigortam.net shot 61.8 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was American point guard Derrick Wilson (185-92, college: Marquette, agency: Network Sports International) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Sigortam.net's coach Andac Yapicier used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was center Emre Tanisan (206-99) who recorded 31 points and 7 rebounds and American center Myles Carter (206-97, college: Seattle) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Sigortam.net and four Gemlik players scored in double figures. Sigortam.net moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Denizl. Gemlik lost third consecutive game.
