Very predictable result when third ranked Emlak Konut (8-1) defeated on the road 11th ranked Mersin Univ. (3-7) 75-67. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian center Olena Staschuk (192-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Melek Selcok (168-94) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Caliya Robinson (190-97, college: Georgia) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks and guard Cansu Yetis (168-93) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Mersin Univ.Emlak Konut maintains third position with 8-1 record having just three points less than leader Bursa, which they share with Edremit. Mersin Univ. at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Emlak Konut's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Antalya 07 at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mersin Univ. will play against Botas (#13) in Ankara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
