Leader Rilski delivered the twelfth victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Spartak Pleven (3-9) 110-78. They outrebounded Spartak Pleven 45-30 including 35 on the defensive glass. Rilski shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Chilean-American power forward Nicolas Carvacho (211-97, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Rilski players scored in double figures. Power forward Dimitar Marincheshki (200-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Ivko Ivkov (196-95) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski (12-1) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Spartak Pleven keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. Rilski will meet at home Balkan (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Spartak Pleven will play against the league's second-placed Levski Lukoil (#2) in Sofia and hope to secure a win.
