Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (2-11) lost on the road to sixth ranked Schwenningen (7-6) 79-73 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Ehingen/Urspringschule was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Nate Britt (185-94, college: UNC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 8 assists. Jonas Niedermanner (205-96) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Schwenningen players scored in double figures. American Christian Oshita (198-97, college: UCSD) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jack Pagenkopf (190-97, college: Dixie St.) added 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Ehingen/Urspringschule. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Schwenningen went down to eighth position due to points difference. Ehingen/Urspringschule lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Schwenningen will face Gladiators (#9) in Trier in the next round. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play at home against Phoenix Hagen (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
