Regular Season Round 30: Silales Lusis - Ezerunas 71-76

Bottom-ranked Silales Lusis (0-20) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 76-71 loss to eleventh ranked Ezerunas (7-13) in Rietavas on Thursday evening. The best player for the winners was center Ignas Juskevicius (201-91) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Evaldas Dziaugys (196-96) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ignas Dauksys (198-93) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Five Ezerunas and four Silales Lusis players scored in double figures. Silales Lusis' coach Mindaugas Krisciokaitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ezerunas maintains eleventh position with 7-13 record. Loser Silales Lusis still closes the standings. Ezerunas will face higher ranked Vilkaviskis (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Silales Lusis will play against Silute (#7) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
