Regular Season Round 18: Triglav - Grosbasket 65-53

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Triglav as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Triglav defeated 5th ranked Grosbasket in Kranj 65-53. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Grosbasket managed to win third quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Triglav forced 19 Grosbasket turnovers. The best player for the winners was Ajda Burgar (176-1) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Gala Kramzar (163-99) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Ana Hrbljan (178-97) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Zorana Tinkara (171-99) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Triglav (16-2) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Grosbasket at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Grosbasket will play next round against strong Celje trying to get back on the winning streak. Triglav will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Ledita D. in Domzale.
