An exciting game was played in Aabyhoj. Third ranked Aabyhoj faced one of their biggest challengers Horsholm. Host Aabyhoj (6-6) smashed guests from Horsholm (5-5) 102-66. The game without a history. Aabyhoj led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Horsholm's 28. Aabyhoj had a 28-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. International forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) replied with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) added 15 points in the effort for Horsholm. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aabyhoj have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-6 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Amager. Defending champion Horsholm keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Aabyhoj will play against league's leader Amager in Kastrup in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Horsholm will play at home against the league's second-placed Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
