Very expected game when 7th ranked Blue Dolphins (5-7) were defeated on the road by third ranked Herner TC (12-3) 74-60 on Wednesday. Herner TC dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Blue Dolphins' 34. Herner TC forced 19 Blue Dolphins turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward AeRianna Harris (185-98, college: Purdue) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Dutch forward Laura Westerik (176-98) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Herner TC's coach Marek Piotrowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international point guard Alexandra Wilke (175-96) produced 14 points and 5 assists and American forward Hanna Crymble (190, college: Vermont) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Herner TC and four Blue Dolphins players scored in double figures. Herner TC have an impressive eight-game winning streak.
