Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Phoenix Hagen (4-10) defeated at home 15th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (3-12) 90-84 on Wednesday. Phoenix Hagen shot 29 for 42 from the free-throw line, while Ehingen/Urspringschule only scored twelve points from the stripe. They outrebounded Ehingen/Urspringschule 48-30 including a 25-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Phoenix Hagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Center Marcel Kessen (207-97) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and Joel-Sadu Aminu (193-97) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Even 19 points and 7 assists by American point guard Jack Pagenkopf (190-97, college: Dixie St.) did not help to save the game for Ehingen/Urspringschule.
