There was no surprise when 12th ranked Erfurt (2-9) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Muenchen 2 (8-6) 66-57 on Wednesday. Muenchen 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Erfurt's 16. Muenchen 2 forced 19 Erfurt turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Austrian point guard Erol Ersek (193-99) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 assists and Sierra Leonean center Mohamed Sillah (204-2) who added 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Muenchen 2's coach Andreas Wagner used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Robert Merz (199-0) responded with 24 points and Jan Heber (186-98) scored 8 points and 6 assists. Muenchen 2 have a solid three-game winning streak.
