Duzce Belediye outrebounded Akhisar Bld 46-28 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Akhisar Bld helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Jamaican forward Joel James (208-94, college: UNC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 20 rebounds. American guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) replied with 20 points and 7 assists and guard Berkay Kansu (191-97) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Akhisar Bld. Duzce Belediye moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Konyaspor and Balikesir. Akhisar Bld at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Duzce Belediye is looking forward to face Konyaspor (#8) at home in the next round. Akhisar Bld will play against Mamak (#11) in Ankara and is hoping to win this game.
