No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Braunschweig (2-1) defeated on the road 10th ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (1-5) 77-70. Braunschweig forced 19 Rotenburg/Scheessel turnovers and outrebounded them 30-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) nailed 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and American guard Sydney Kopp (170, college: DePauw) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds.
