Fifteenth-ranked Silales Lusis (2-22) gave a tough game to second ranked Zalgiris II (17-7) in Kaunas. Zalgiris II managed to secure only one-point victory 91-90. However their fans expected much easier game. Zalgiris II outrebounded Silales Lusis 42-26 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Silales Lusis was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by center Giedrius Bergaudas (212-0) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and forward Justinas Ramanauskas (193-0) supported him with 19 points and 6 assists. Zalgiris II's coach Arvydas Gronskis used entire bench in such tough game. Even 21 points and 4 assists by Laimonas Remeikis (200-97) did not help to save the game for Silales Lusis. Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) added 18 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the guests. Four Silales Lusis players scored in double figures. Zalgiris II maintains second position with 17-7 record having just one point less than leader Suduva-Mantinga. Silales Lusis at the other side stay dead last with 22 lost games.
