Even 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) by forward Belgin Onbasi (177-82) did not help to save the game for Karsiyaka. Forward Melis Lafatan (188-91) added 18 points and 9 rebounds. Istanbul Univ. moved-up to thirteenth place. Newly promoted Karsiyaka dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Duzce Bld. Istanbul Univ. will meet higher ranked Yalova Vip (#8) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Karsiyaka will play against Fenerbahce G. in Istanbul and hope to secure a win.
