Regular Season Round 36: Ezerunas - Silales Lusis 81-80

Fifteenth-ranked Silales Lusis (2-24) was very close to win a game against twelfth ranked Ezerunas (9-14) in Moletai. Ezerunas managed to secure only one-point victory 81-80. However their fans expected easier game. Ezerunas outrebounded Silales Lusis 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Modestas Zaunieriunas (189-94) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 rebounds and center Ignas Juskevicius (201-91) who added 9 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Osvaldas Macernis (200-82) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Laimonas Remeikis (200-97) scored 15 points. Four Silales Lusis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ezerunas moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Vilnius. Silales Lusis lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games. Ezerunas will play against higher ranked Vytis (#4) in Sakiai in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Silales Lusis will have a break next round.
