Date: February 5, 2021
A very interesting game took place in Hamburg. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Hamburg Towers (9-5) to tenth ranked Bayreuth (6-10) 95-92 on Friday evening. Bayreuth made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a very good performance for Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Milwaukee) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Frank Bartley IV (190-94, college: La-Lafayette, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 19 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Bartley IV is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Jordan Swing (198-90, college: UAB) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and point guard TJ Shorts (175-97, college: UC Davis) added 17 points and 6 assists in the effort for Hamburg Towers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
