NBL top team - Rilski (14-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Cherno More (2-14) in Samokov 96-45. Rilski dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Cherno More's 32. They outrebounded Cherno More 55-27 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Cherno More's players. The former international forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) nailed 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Trey Porter (208-96, college: Nevada) accounted for 11 points and 15 rebounds. Five Rilski players scored in double figures. Guard Aleksandar Milov (198-95) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Mihail Moldov (195-1) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Cherno More in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski maintains first place with 14-2 record. Cherno More lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Rilski will meet Beroe (#4) in the next round. Cherno More will have a break next round.
