No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Osnabrueck (3-2) beat at home 10th ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (1-6) 69-51 on Saturday. Osnabrueck had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Emma Eichmeyer (180-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Maira Banko (179-5) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Osnabrueck players scored in double figures. The former international guard Pia Mankertz (170-90) replied with 11 points and American forward Maddie Simon (188-97, college: Nebraska) added 8 points in the effort for Rotenburg/Scheessel. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Osnabrueck moved-up to fourth place in North. Rotenburg/Scheessel lost fifth consecutive game.
