Regular Season Round 13: Ceyhan - Bursa 60-74

TKBL top team - Bursa (12-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Ceyhan (2-10) in Adana 74-60. They outrebounded Ceyhan 45-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. Bursa players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Rabia Celebi (167-85) nailed 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winning side and American center Sasha Goodlett (195-90, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 19 points and 8 rebounds. Bursa's coach Murat Alkas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Beril Arik (-94) came up with 16 points and 4 assists and Ilkem Tokyay (-0) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for Ceyhan in the defeat. Bursa have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Ceyhan lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Bursa will play against Yalova Vip (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ceyhan will play against Mersin Univ. (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
