There was a minor upset when 6th ranked ASC Theresianum Mainz (2-4) lost at home to ninth ranked Schwabach (3-4) 62-49 on Saturday. Schwabach held ASC Theresianum Mainz to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.8 percent accuracy of the winners. American guard Kaela Hilaire (157-98, college: Stony Brook) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Lea Vatthauer (184-90) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Canadian center Alexandra Berry (186-95, college: Acadia) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Alina Doetsch (170-99) added 4 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for ASC Theresianum Mainz. ASC Theresianum Mainz's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Schwabach moved-up to fifth place in South. ASC Theresianum Mainz lost third consecutive game.
