Date: February 6, 2021
Fifth ranked KOS (9-5) crushed at home 9th ranked Deutsch-Wagram (3-11) by 21 points 94-73, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Deutsch-Wagram. The game was mostly controlled by KOS. Deutsch-Wagram was better in fourth quarter 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KOS dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Deutsch-Wagram's 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for Slovenian center Lovro Fizuleto (200-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Slovenian point guard Jernej Heine (191-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four KOS players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Nikola Letic (185-0) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Nikica Nikolic (192-0) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Deutsch-Wagram. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KOS have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 9-5 record. Deutsch-Wagram at the other side keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. KOS will have a break next round. Deutsch-Wagram will play at home against the league's second-placed Raiders Tirol (#2) and hope to win that game.
