2.Bundesliga top team - Homburger TG (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Ludwigsburg (0-1) 91-71. The game without a history. Homburger TG led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Homburger TG outrebounded Ludwigsburg 57-38 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Spanish forward Nerea Odriozola (181-88) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 26 rebounds. Canadian guard Haley McDonald (165, college: Acadia) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four Homburger TG players scored in double figures. Swingman Luzie Hegele (174-1) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Noreen Stoeckle (180-4) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Homburger TG have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 6-0 record. Ludwigsburg at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost.
