The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Bakken's (18-1) home victory over second-best Randers (13-6) 128-100 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 22 long-distance shots on high 52.4 percentage. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Randers' players. American point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) scored 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Preston Bungei (198-95, college: Norfolk St.) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and French center Jonathan Jeanne (218-97, agency: Slash Sports) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Bakken and five Randers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-1 record. Randers lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with six games lost. Bakken will face Svendborg (#4) on the road in the next round. Randers will play against Horsens IC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
