There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (10-16) beat on the road 10th ranked Vilnius (10-16) 72-65. Neptunas-Akv. had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Nojus Mineikis (201-0) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Matas Vaitkus (183-0) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Arnas Adomavicius (193-0, college: UNCG) who recorded 16 points and 4 assists and center Rokas Jocius (208-3) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Neptunas-Akv. moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Vilnius. Neptunas-Akv. will have a break next round.
