No shocking result in a game when second ranked Science City Jena (11-3) beat at home 10th ranked Uni Baskets (8-10) 91-81. Science City Jena dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Uni Baskets' 40. The best player for the winners was center Robin Lodders (206-94) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American point guard Kasey Hill (185-93, college: Florida) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Science City Jena's coach Frank Menz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Drew Cushingberry (191-96, college: Ferris St.) who recorded 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import center Barret Benson (208, college: SIU) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Science City Jena and five Uni Baskets players scored in double figures. Science City Jena have a solid series of four victories in a row.
