An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Varna. Third ranked Lokomotiv 2020 faced one of their biggest challengers NSA. Host Lokomotiv 2020 (13-2) defeated guests from Sofia (10-6) 89-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of NSA. Lokomotiv 2020 players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The winners were led by Vasil Mihaylov (202-94) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and forward Kristiyan Stavrev (200-95, college: Eckerd) supported him with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Viktor Serafimov (190-0) did not help to save the game for NSA. Point guard Georgi Damyanov (184-99) added 19 points and 9 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lokomotiv 2020 have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-2 record behind leader Showtime. Newly promoted NSA keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Lokomotiv 2020's next round opponent will be Polytechnica (#13) in Sofia and are hoping to win another game. NSA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia CSKA.
