Bottom-ranked Ludwigsburg (0-2) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their second consecutive match to seventh ranked Heidelberg 2 (3-4) 63-49 on Saturday evening. Heidelberg 2 forced 29 Ludwigsburg turnovers and had a 24-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for power forward Anna Meusel (178-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Helena Chatzitheodoros (168-97) helped adding 14 points and 7 assists. Four Heidelberg 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Luzie Hegele (174-1) with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and center Lia Hilgenfeld (189-3) scored 8 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Heidelberg 2. They moved-up to fifth place in South, which they share with Jahn Muenchen. Loser Ludwigsburg still closes the standings with two games lost.
