Regular Season Round 19: Svendborg - Bakken 91-111

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Svendborg. First ranked Bakken faced 4th placed Svendborg. Guests from Aarhus (19-1) smashed host Svendborg (13-8) 111-91. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Svendborg was better in third quarter 31-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bakken players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Brandon Tabb (193-95, college: BCU) answered with 37 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and international guard Sebastian Petersen (188-95) added 13 points and 6 assists in the effort for Svendborg. Five Bakken and four Svendborg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bakken have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-1 record. Svendborg at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Bakken will play against Randers (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Svendborg will play again against the league's leader Bakken and hopes to get back on the winning track.
