The most surprising game was the first loss of Bursaspor (1-1) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Tesvikiye (1-1) 71-58. Tesvikiye dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Bursaspor's 16. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Utku Pelit (-3) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. Kaan Onkardes (-3) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Tesvikiye's coach Husnu Eser used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Ali Isik (206-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Mithat Ozalp (-2) added 18 points and 7 assists in the effort for Bursaspor. Tesvikiye left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Bursaspor. Tesvikiye is looking forward to face higher ranked TAC NEF (#3) in Tarsus in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bursaspor will play on the road against Lokman Hekim in Fethiye and is hoping to win this game.
