Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Wuerzburg (8-0) defeated 3rd ranked Rhein Main Baskets (4-4) in Langen 73-64 on Saturday. Wuerzburg forced 26 Rhein Main Baskets turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American guard Paige Bradley (175-94, college: Denver) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 steals. The other American import guard Katlyn Yohn (182-91, college: Bradley) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Wuerzburg's coach Thomas Glasauer used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Power forward Paula Suessmann (182-2) replied with 16 points (made all of her seven free throws) and forward Jasmin Weyell (177-99) added 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Rhein Main Baskets. Four Rhein Main Baskets players scored in double figures. Wuerzburg have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 8-0 record. Loser Rhein Main Baskets keep the third place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
