Date: February 20, 2021

Artland Dragons made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. Artland Dragons outrebounded Uni Baskets 33-17 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American Gerel Simmons (188-93, college: LMU) notched 21 points to lead the effort and Adrian Breitlauch (193-93) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 22 points and 5 assists by American guard Jackson Trapp (193-92, college: FAU) did not help to save the game for Uni Baskets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Uni Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Artland Dragons will play against Bayer Giants (#7) in Leverkusen in the next round. Uni Baskets will play on the road against the league's second-placed Rostock (#2) and hope to get back on the winning track.
