Very expected game in Allmendingen where 13th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (5-13) was defeated by second ranked Science City Jena (12-4) 79-74. American point guard Kasey Hill (185-93, college: Florida) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and center Robin Lodders (206-94) supported him with 22 points. Four Science City Jena players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds by center Akim-Jamal Jonah (210-98, college: San Diego) did not help to save the game for Ehingen/Urspringschule. American point guard Jack Pagenkopf (190-97, college: Dixie St.) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Science City Jena keeps a position of league leader. Ehingen/Urspringschule at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. Science City Jena will play against Walter Tigers (#12) in Tuebingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
