Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Skyliners II (7-12) defeated on the road 12th ranked Erfurt (2-13) 89-79 on Sunday. Skyliners II looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Erfurt's players. Quite impressive performance for international point guard Len Schoormann (192-2, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Noah Kamdem (198-98) contributed with 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American point guard RJ Price (183-93, college: Radford) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and point guard Miles Osei (196-2) added 17 points in the effort for Erfurt. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Skyliners II. They maintain ninth place in South with 7-12 record. Erfurt lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Skyliners II will face league's leader Coburg at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Erfurt will play against Koblenz (#6) and hope to win that game.
